Why Homeowners in Orillia Choose Aire One Barrie

Orillia sits where Lake Simcoe meets Lake Couchiching — the “Sunshine City” at the heart of Ontario’s Lake Country. It’s a place of contrasts for homeowners: century homes and heritage properties in the historic downtown, and brand-new builds going up across the West Ridge community. Both need heating and cooling that can stand up to cold, snowy lakeside winters and warm, humid summers. Aire One Barrie is a family-owned, TSSA-licensed HVAC company and Carrier dealer based about 30 minutes south in Barrie, and we’ve kept Simcoe County and Lake Country homes comfortable for more than 30 years. From downtown Orillia to West Ridge, homeowners rely on us for straight advice, clean installs, and true 24/7 emergency service.

Reliability is the best word I can think of to describe the team at Air One Simcoe Heating. They show up on time, respect our property and get the job done. And all at a very competitive price! They have served us well for some twenty years and we don’t even consider others for our HVAC needs.

The two gentlemen who installed our new water heater were very professional and friendly. We had great service from our first call which was on Good Friday and our new water heater was installed on Saturday. Henry was great to work with as well. I highly recommend AireOne

Michael arrived to address a warranty issue with my furnace. The heat exchanger failed and the part was still covered. He worked for approximately 4 hours and was extremely focused on getting the job done right. He removed the old parts and explained the differences between the old part and new one. Once he was done there was no way to tell he was here. Everything was cleaned up 100% and he offered to answer any questions we have. Aire One was great, friendly and extremely responsive. I would highly recommend them!

Frequently Asked Questions: Orillia HVAC Guide

How does Orillia’s climate affect my heating and cooling options for my home?

Orillia has seasonal extremes. There are winter months when the temperature is freezing, and very humid summers. Your HVAC equipment is working hard in this environment. If you have a good furnace and a high-efficiency AC or a high-end cold-climate heat pump, you can keep your home balanced beautifully no matter what the weather is outside.

Watch out for sudden, unexpected increases in your monthly utility bills, weak or uneven airflow throughout your rooms, constant cycling on and off, or strange rattling noises and odours coming from your vents. If your furnace is over 15 years old or your AC is more than 10 years old, you might want to start thinking about a modern replacement.

Yes! Homeowners can easily perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking and changing air filters every 1 to 3 months, to prevent dust buildup. But a licensed technician should always perform a full seasonal tune-up, including checking refrigerant pressures, cleaning internal coils, and inspecting gas connections, to ensure safety and warranty compliance.

We suggest having your furnace inspected early in the fall, before winter hits, to keep your system operating at peak efficiency. We also suggest having your air conditioner tuned up in the spring, before the heavy summer humidity sets in.
