Alliston has come a long way from its potato-farming roots. As the largest community in the Town of New Tecumseth and home to Honda of Canada’s assembly plants, it’s now a mix of busy new subdivisions and long-established homes along Victoria Street and the Boyne River. A brand-new build and a century home downtown need very different things from a heating and cooling system, and we work on both.
Aire One Barrie is a TSSA-registered HVAC company based in Barrie, about a 35-minute drive from Alliston. We’ve kept Simcoe County homes comfortable for more than 30 years, with honest advice, clean installations and 24/7 emergency service.

We provide prompt AC repair in Alliston for all central and ductless systems, so you’re not left sweating through the summer. Our air conditioner repair in Alliston covers everything from weak airflow and warm-air vents to leaks, strange noises, and a unit that won’t start at all. Building new or replacing a tired unit? Our AC installation in Alliston starts with a proper load calculation so your system is sized right for the home — especially important in Alliston’s new subdivisions, where an oversized unit wastes energy and short-cycles. We install efficient Carrier central air conditioners, and offer rent-or-buy options to suit your budget. For older downtown homes and additions without ductwork, a ductless mini-split is often the smartest way to add cooling. Learn more about air conditioner installation.

Heat pumps have become one of the smartest upgrades for Alliston homes because a single system handles both heating and cooling — a great match for a town adding energy-conscious new builds every year. Our heat pump installation in Alliston centres on cold-climate models that keep working through Ontario winters by moving heat rather than burning fuel to create it, which can meaningfully lower energy costs. Many homeowners pair a heat pump with a backup furnace for the coldest stretches. Already have one? Our heat pump repair in Alliston keeps it running efficiently year-round.
Wondering whether a heat pump can really handle our winters? Read heat pumps for extreme climates and why heat pumps top the list of eco-friendly upgrades. Rebates may help offset the cost — ask about current programs, including Carrier promotions, or check our offers and rebates. When you’re ready, our heat pump installation team will size the right system for your home.

Reliability is the best word I can think of to describe the team at Air One Simcoe Heating. They show up on time, respect our property and get the job done. And all at a very competitive price! They have served us well for some twenty years and we don’t even consider others for our HVAC needs.Posted on Google![]()

The two gentlemen who installed our new water heater were very professional and friendly. We had great service from our first call which was on Good Friday and our new water heater was installed on Saturday. Henry was great to work with as well. I highly recommend AireOnePosted on Google![]()

Michael arrived to address a warranty issue with my furnace. The heat exchanger failed and the part was still covered. He worked for approximately 4 hours and was extremely focused on getting the job done right. He removed the old parts and explained the differences between the old part and new one. Once he was done there was no way to tell he was here. Everything was cleaned up 100% and he offered to answer any questions we have. Aire One was great, friendly and extremely responsive. I would highly recommend them!
Alliston is surrounded by farm fields and active construction, so outdoor AC units here pick up a lot of dust, seeds and plant debris. A clogged coil makes the compressor work harder and run hotter. Turn the power off at the outdoor disconnect, gently hose the unit down each spring, and keep plants and grass clippings at least a couple of feet away.

Yes. Cold-climate heat pumps keep heating well below freezing, though how low depends on the model, and they get less efficient as temperatures drop. That’s why many Alliston homeowners keep their gas furnace as a backup that switches on automatically on the coldest days.
